Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) in Punjab oversees a significant number of institutes called Government College of Technology. These institutes offer programs ranging from 4-year Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (BSc. Engineering Technology) degrees and 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE).
nstitutes under Vocational Stream aimed at providing practical skills and training to students. Trainees from vocational institutes are termed as Skilled Workers.. and typically work at the operational level in industries. The vocational institutes have been categorized as:
TEVTA Punjab Service Centers aim to simulate factory environments to train students in customized areas such as leather processing, cutlery, surgical items, sports .items, hosiery items, woodwork, ceramics, metal, textile, and agriculture. They aim to enhance the productivity and competitiveness of businesses within their respective industrial clusters.
